How does the fair usage policy work in Plan A?

It’s easy. With Plan A, the number of support hours you’ll get is calculated by the size of your Business. For example, a Business with 5 users and 1 server would be entitled to 3 hours support per month, which is PLENTY for a Company of this size that doesn’t need everyday support. The beauty of IT Freedom is that it’s STILL a Fully Managed service. You and your staff can call us at anytime from 7:00am to 7:00pm, and we’ll provide instant support. Worried about going over your hours? Simply switch to plan B at any time or purchase a block of hours to tide you over. It’s easy!

How quickly can we switch to Ohso:Mac?

Once you sign an IT Services contract with Ohso:Mac, we can take full control of your IT operations from day one. We’ll liaise with your IT Company directly and obtain any details required to support your IT Infrastructure. In addition, our team will conduct a root and branch audit of your IT Infrastructure. We can add all of your details into our helpdesk system, giving us all of the information we need to provide you with the exceptional service you deserve. This audit also allows us to identify and resolve any IT issues that may be affecting the efficiency of your Macs and other systems within your network.

How quick are your Mac Rock stars?

Good question, better answer. Our help desk team are trained to provide INSTANT telephone and remote tech support. You’ll find that we can resolve most technical support issues in a single phone call. And if the problem needs escalating, our 2nd and 3rd line engineers are on hand to take control and get your issue fixed ASAP.

Who will answer my support calls?

We’ll answer your support call within 3 rings guaranteed. Your call will be answered by one of our Fully qualified Mac Rock stars who will provide you with immediate technical assistance, because we’re good like that. Our helpdesk team is made up of 1st,2nd and 3rd line engineers that provide break/fix technical support and consultancy to our lovely clients Monday to Friday, from 7:00am to 7:00pm.

What if I’ve got a tricky problem that can’t be fixed immediately?

We’re very good at what we do, but there’s always the odd glitch in the matrix that presents a challenge. When this happens, we’ll need a bit more time to put things right. We’ve got a process in place to ensure that when things can’t be fixed straight away, our 1st Line helpdesk team will immediately escalate the issue to our 2nd and 3rd line engineers, who will work to resolve the issue as quickly and efficiently as possible.

How long are your Mac Support contracts?

To demonstrate the confidence we have in our service levels, our standard contract length is a 3-month rolling services contract. AND if you’re not happy with our service (which of course you will be), then you can cancel at any time in the first month. Would you prefer to sign a longer-term agreement? We’ll happy provide you with a 12- or 24-month contract for a discounted rate. Just drop us a line to discuss this.

Are Administrative changes included in the service?

Absolutely. Administrative changes such as creating new user accounts, email addresses, permission changes and firewall rule changes are all part of the service. If your existing IT Company is charging you for tasks like these, then we strongly suggest giving us a call!

I’ve emailed details of a Mac problem to the support team. When will you reply?

Our eagle-eyed Rock stars monitor our inbox through the day. When we receive your email, we’ll endeavour to convert it into a new support ticket and contact you within 10 minutes.

Do you provide IT Support outside of standard Business hours?

We do indeed! We provide the following range of Pay as you Go Support services outside of standard Business Support hours:

  1. Early bird IT Support – 6:00am to 8:30am
  2. Late night IT Support – 9:00pm to midnight
  3. Midnight Oil IT Support – Midnight to 6:00am
  4. 24-hour IT support – midnight to midnight!

Your helpdesk team sounds amazing, but what if they can’t fix my problem remotely?

In this rare instance, our very own fully qualified (and highly experienced) Field Support Technicians will attend site to save the day. Our onsite support team also provide scheduled onsite support services for setting up and configuring new hardware. There’s NO charge to existing contracted clients for setting up equipment, it’s all part of the service!       And don’t forget our emergency response team. If a critical IT problem grinds your Business to a halt, then we’ll be onsite within the hour. We’re good like that 😊
